When I was a kid my favorite thing to write was “My Life.” Every time I had a pencil and a piece of paper and some time to kill, I wanted to write my autobiography. At 30 years old, not much has changed. I’ve been journaling since I got a pink, locking diary in the third grade. Much of my private journaling is synonymous with prayer and meditation. What I choose to post here is what I’m comfortable putting on display.
After growing up in Four Square and Assemblies of God churches, I’m now a non-denominational, Free Believer Christian. I’m an INFJ for the Myers-Briggs fans out there. I’ve played the piano for as long as I’ve kept a journal. I’ve always been told I’m a natural leader, but I’d much rather follow someone I respect than lead for myself.
Born the second of four kids, my sister and I are sandwiched between our brothers who are 10 years apart. I married my hu’band in November 2011, just six months after he bulldozed his way out of the friend zone, and now we’re raising our tween goddaughters together!
I have a career in commercial real estate management, but I’ve worked in commercial printing, sign manufacturing, bookkeeping, and personal income tax preparation. I’m currently working on completing my bachelor’s degree in business management and building a business consulting firm. My goal is to have both completed by December 2016 and to start working as a business consultant full time beginning in January.
In March 2015 I discovered Bullet Journal, and I’ve been hooked ever since!
I’m open and always honest, and I hope something here connects with you.
